About

With so many options for furthering your skills, why do it with us?

Well that's easy...

1. The course is 5 Dives, with a minimum of 3 dives all from the boats in beautiful Jervis Bay, the other 2 may be done from shore depending on conditions. Our instructor team has multiple disciplines and we will take the time to build your experience. $599 (plus gear hire if needed) will increase your skills and knowledge as well as give you the confidence to experience more in the underwater world.

2. On completion you will get a $100 Credit for your next course or Dive with us.

3. Automatic 12 month Membership of the HUSKY DIVER CLUB, or if you are already a member use your existing credit to pay.

Our Aim is to make you a better diver...As well as the standard Adventure Dives we offer:

  • Full Face Mask - try out a full face mask and learn what is involved,
  • Naturalist with a University qualified Marine Biologist.
  • Search and Recovery of actual objects from instructors with actual experience in marine recovery,
  • Self Reliant Diver, learn about the risks and requirements of being your own buddy
  • Photography with trained and published underwater photographers.
  • And as a Sea Shepherd Dive Centre we also specialise in Shark Conservation, Project Aware and Reef Conservation.

There are over 15 Adventure dives available in Jervis Bay for you to explore.

Don't just learn to Dive...Learn to be a Diver. If you are looking for more in your Advanced Package consider incorporating your ENRICHED AIR (Nitrox) Diver qualifications into the course.

THE SCUBA GEAR YOU WILL USE

As an advanced diver you should carry and be familiar with the following items that you will learn to use on the course.

  • A compass for navigation around a dive site.
  • A Delayed Surface Marker Buoy (DSMB) and reel, for safety stops.
  • A torch for looking into dark places and also for night diving.
  • A small knife for cutting lines (especially fishing lines on reefs).

We also recommend that you should seriously consider purchasing your own computer, if you have not already done so. With your own computer you can know, with confidence, how to work it and so that it remembers your personal dive history.

Gear Hire

If you have need to hire gear, when you arrive on day 1, you will sit down with your instructor and go over all the gear you need. This will be at an additional cost and can cost anywhere between $20 - $155 depending on what you need.

The learning materials you need

We use the PADI eLearning Adventures in diving program, this will be supported by a class room session followed by the practical component.

NB: You will receive a confirmation email, stating all the details for your book once you have booked in and paid. This does not necessarily confirm that the course will definately go ahead. We need to reach our minimum number for the course to proceed.
