We start with a quick and easy introduction to the SCUBA gear and necessary considerations for safe diving at our dive center. Then we go to a majestic freshwater lagoon among the mangroves where we'll practice the basic skills at shallow depths and from there we continue for a tranquil and relaxing dive where sunbeams passing through the root system create a mesmerizing kaleidoscope of light and shadow. Jeweled cichlids, sailfin mollies, tarpon, and a rare mix of other fresh/brackish species all inhabit this unique environment.

We then take a 5 minute boat ride out to the shallow reef for a second dive among some of the most pristine coral gardens in the Caribbean, this tour really offers the best of both worlds.
