• Materials for handbuilding (white earthenware and hand tools) • Underglazes for you to paint colour to your piece • Complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate • A relaxed environment with background music for you to get in the zone
Our family days are discounted to allow the whole family to come along and enjoy a creative day together. We do slab building of mugs or trinket bowls for adults and kids have the option to do the same, or to make an animal.
In order to paint onto greenware clay (unfired clay) – we use underglazes in this workshop. These will not blend and change in the kiln, so they are great to paint shapes and patterns with hard edges. Very much like painting with acrylics!
These activities are very easily adapted to all ages and are a lot of fun!
