A great way to enjoy the beautiful waters while avoiding traffic and parking hassles!
We have 2 open air pontoon style vessels that hold a total of 49 passengers. We do not have isinglass (plastic windows) on the vessels due to the sail-like control that it gives the captains when driving the boats. We recommend riders take weather and water conditions in mind and dress appropriately. It is possible to get wet and in colder weather the water can feel colder than on land.
Our route services Bradenton Riverwalk Pier, Bridge Street Pier. All routes accept reservations and we also accept walk-ons. Reservations will board first. When booking make sure the correct departure point and destination are selected. Ferry may depart prior to scheduled time if capacity is met.
Reservations are recommended, especially during weekends and holidays, to guarantee availability on the ferry.
Open-air vessels are exposed; dress accordingly and be prepared for sun or sudden breezes.
Keep an eye out for dolphins, manatees, and osprey along the shorelines and in the water.
Arriving 15 minutes before departure helps ensure a smooth boarding experience and prime seating on deck.
Bradenton and Anna Maria Island have rich fishing and maritime histories dating to early indigenous cultures and Spanish settlements.
The ferry operator follows eco-friendly practices to minimize water pollution and disturbance to marine habitats in Tampa Bay.
