Island Watersports is the only Maryland/Delaware business to offer Scarab jet boats for rent. Our jet boat makes the perfect watersports boats as well as offering the thrill of speed and great handling. Our jet boats do NOT have a propeller, like many other speed boats. This means that our boats are the SAFEST for those renters with kids. The boats have plenty of power to pull your friends and family on one of our tow tubes, wakeboards, wake surfboards, water skis, or kneeboards. Boats range in size to meet the needs of every customer and allow for seating for up to 7 people (1,300 pounds)! Jet boats are capable of running up to 45 mph.
For watersports, we suggest no more five people on the boat to leave extra power for the tow sports.
Scarab jet boats have no external propeller, reducing injury risk, but always wear life jackets and follow the operator's safety briefing.
For optimal power when towing tubes or boards, keep the number of riders being towed to five or fewer per session.
Be aware that rentals include a fuel surcharge which varies by booking length, so plan your budget accordingly.
Wind and choppy water can impact your jet boat experience; bookings may be canceled for safety on rough days.
Fenwick Island has served as a fishing and recreation spot for generations, evolving alongside Delaware’s coastal tourism.
Island Watersports follows best practices to minimize fuel use and protect local aquatic habitats, supporting sustainable waterfront recreation.
Life jackets are mandatory for all riders to ensure safety on the water.
Protect your skin from prolonged sun exposure while out on open water.
