Starting at Sneznik mountain, enjoy a scenic ride back to Schmilka along forest paths and the Elbe River. The tour starts in Schmilka in Saxon Switzerland (Germany) at a Bio- und Nationalpark Refugium. First, you’ll be shuttled to Sneznik mountain in the Bohemian Switzerland (Czech Republic) starting point where you´ll get all the equipment and our detailed map with the trail description.
Afterward, you’ll individually visit the highest peak of the Saxon Bohemian Switzerland (723 m. a.s.l.)
Then, it will be time to get back to Schmilka on shady forest roads with a comfortable downhill gradient. You´ll reach the Elbe Valley in Krippen which is a 5 km ride along the river to Schmilka on a famous Elbe cycling trail. Or why not take a Wandership to get back and enjoy the river cruise? You´ll return the scooters in Bio- und Nationalpark Refugium at our meeting point during business hours. Meanwhile, you can keep the scooter all day and spend time discovering the area.
This is a moderate tour suitable even for families with children from 12 years age and persons who like sporty tours.
The descent on this tour is 30 km, duration 5 hours. You can use a tourist boat for the last 5 km between Bad Schandau and Schmilka.
