The ultimate hidden swim.
This is our most challenging hike and takes us to the most inaccessible cove on the island. Following pine-clad trails, we descend exceptionally steep cliff paths concealed among the rocks to arrive at a rocky and isolated cove. At this beach we can swim far out into crystalline waters, gazing back at our now-vanished path through the cliffs. We clamber among the lunar rock formations to meditate over the water, before returning via a deep, atmospheric and otherworldly forest where we will walk silently beside some of the oldest stone walls on the island.
The Hike Station Grading System: Difficult
Food & Beverages: Carrying ample drinking water is essential. There are no stores or other facilities along our trails. Fruit and energy bars are ideal for mid-way sustenance.
What to Bring: The Hike Station will provide for each person a small backpack. You should bring at least 1.5L of water per person, and snacks if you would like. Please bring your own: sun hat, sun cream, and swimwear for coastal hikes. Also ensure you bring any necessary medication or inhalers that you might require during the hike.
What to Wear: Suitable footwear, including socks (sports trainers are fine). Anyone wearing unsuitable footwear (such as flip-flops), or no socks, will not be able to hike. Ideally you should wear comfortable, quick-drying sportswear. A jacket or hoodie are recommended for sunset hikes, windy days, or rare cold days! We think black is best!
