You crest a switchback in an open 4x4 and the Taurus Mountains lay out like a raw, folded map. Pine-scented slopes descend into a narrow gorge where the canyon narrows to sheer limestone walls and a wooden boardwalk threads the rock. The water ahead calls you—cool, clear, and insistent—leading to Sapadere’s waterfall where spray mists the path and sunlight sketches patterns on the stone.

Yes—there are shallow pools near the waterfall and at Dimçay where a supervised swim is common; follow guide rules for safety.
Pickup is from the operator’s office in Alanya city center; some tours may offer hotel pickup—confirm when booking.
Not recommended for those with spinal injuries or pregnant travelers; children can join but require close supervision on wet boardwalks.
The area sits on routes used for seasonal shepherding and small-scale agriculture; local villages retain Anatolian mountain customs and simple hospitality.
Stick to the boardwalks to protect fragile vegetation and limestone surfaces; avoid soaps in river pools and carry out all trash to preserve water quality.
