You step out of the minivan into a highland wind that tugs at your jacket and pushes your heartbeat forward. The trail to Love Waterfall threads through mossy boulders and steep, fern-lined gullies; the waterfall itself drops roughly 100 meters, each tier daring you to move closer. Guides fit harnesses and helmets, the rope hums in practiced hands, and the first abseil gives way to cold plunge pools and slick granite steps.
