The day opens with the boat’s bow cutting through bluish-green Caribbean water, palms on the horizon leaning like spectators. Guests are collected from hotels and driven to Bayahibe; from there a speedboat carries the group toward Saona Island, threading through shallow sandbanks and past low coral reefs. Midway the boat drops anchor at the famed "natural pool," a waist-deep stretch of clear water where the sea seems to pause and invite you to float.

Typical packages include lunch, soft drinks, and sometimes alcoholic beverages for adults; check your booking details for exact inclusions.
The natural pool is shallow and accessible but involves boarding a boat and standing in shallow water; it may not be suitable for people with serious mobility limitations.
Saona Island lies inside Cotubanamá National Park; its coastal geography was shaped by coral and limestone and it has long been used by local fishermen, with Taíno roots in the nearby mainland history.
Stay on marked areas, avoid touching coral or removing shells, and use reef-safe products—tourism pressure has an impact on shorelines and marine habitats.
