Adventure tips

Bring reef-safe sunscreenApply and reapply biodegradable sunscreen—protects coral and prevents intense sunburn on exposed tropical beaches.

Protect valuables from sprayCarry a small waterproof bag for phone, cash and ID; catamaran decks can be wet during the ride back.

Plan for seasicknessIf you’re prone to motion sickness, take medication before boarding the speedboat—open ocean can be choppy.

Respect wildlife at the natural poolObserve starfish and reef life without touching; removing organisms stresses fragile habitats.

Recommended gear

Reef-safe sunscreen: Protects skin and nearby coral ecosystems under strong tropical sun.
Waterproof bag or dry sack: Keeps phone, documents and spare clothes dry during speedboat and catamaran transfers.
Water shoes or reef sandals: Useful for walking on shell-strewn beach and over shallow reef while snorkeling.
Light windbreaker or cover-up: Blocks wind on the return catamaran ride when spray and breeze cool the deck.
