Summary:

Visit Santa Barbara, California’s most picturesque and historic landmarks with us on this all-day driving excursion built just for you and your group!

Once your guide picks you up from your preferred location in the Greater Los Angeles area, you’ll be treated to a ride to the beautiful southern California beach city of Santa Barbara. You’ll get the lay of the land as your guide narrates and navigates your way to Old Mission Santa Barbara, a Spanish mission dating back to the late 1700s!

Here, you’ll learn about the history of this functioning mission, taking a tour of the small museum on-site, strolling through the gardens and courtyard, and taking in the ingenious architecture of the historic structure.

Outside of the “Queen of the Spanish Missions”, more architecture abounds, and we’ll have a chance to appreciate this colonial style along the streets of downtown Santa Barbara. History lovers in the group might also enjoy a stop at El Presidio de Santa Bárbara State Historic Park, a former military installation built before the mission.

We can then unwind a bit with some wine tasting along Santa Barbara’s Urban Wine Trail, with some 30 wineries to choose from for tastings. Afterwards, we can relax at West Beach or enjoy a leisurely walk out onto Stearns Wharf, as we watch the sun slowly setting over the Pacific Ocean.

Your guide will transport you back to your accommodations, giving you plenty more recommendations for the rest of your stay in sunny California!
