A low mist lifts from the Sana as you slide a kayak into glass-clear water near the town of Ključ. The river pushes forward with quiet insistence, carving through pale limestone and shallow riffles that flash trout beneath your hull. Paddles dip, sunlight finds eddies, and the fortress on the hill keeps easy watch—a human marker on an otherwise elemental scene.
