About This Adventure

Get ready to explore the oldest city in the US territory by joining our Old San Juan Birding City Walking Tour. On this tour we will visit and learn about the history of some of the most important places in Old San Juan while observing and identifying birds along the cobblestone streets and colorful buildings of the old city. We will talk about the impact that these birds have on the environment, their adaptation and the importance of having and preserving green spaces within the city.

We will walk for approximately 2.5 hours and stop at the following sites:

  • Plaza del Quinto Centenario
  • Castillo San Felipe del Morro (El Redondel de Camino Escénico)
  • Casa Blanca (Patio y alrededores)
  • Parque Pasivo
  • Plazuela la Rogativa

(Please note that this is a walking excursion, it is important to have comfortable shoes, appropriate clothing and bring water. This tour does NOT include a visit inside the forts.)
