How long is the rental period?

Same-day rental: Pick up 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, return by 5:00 PM (late returns incur fees).

Is there a weight limit for your kayak?

Yes, our kayaks can accommodate up to 245 lbs.

Is there an entrance fee to get into Lake Powell?

Yes, a $30 National Park fee is required per vehicle (waived for Military ID or National Park Pass holders).

Are we allowed to bring our own snacks?

Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring your snacks, drinks, lunch, etc. Please follow the Leave No Trace policy and take any trash with you.

Do you guys have special snacks for people with allergies?

No, please bring your own food and drinks.

What should we wear?

Wear comfortable, quick-drying clothing or swimwear. If sensitive to sun, consider light athletic wear.

Can I bring a bag/backpack?

Yes! It is also highly recommended to bring along a Waterproof Dry-Bag. These may be purchased directly on our website. Please keep in mind, should any items fall into the Lake, neither you nor our employees, are allowed to dive in and retrieve them.

How will I know where to go, what time to go, or whether or not my booking is confirmed?

If you’ve received an email directly from Antelope Kayak with your booking details (i.e. booking date, confirmation number, etc.) then you have already been confirmed electronically.

What is the cancellation policy?

Any changes, cancellations, and no-shows within 48 hours are non-refundable. Anybody late is considered a no-show and will not be refunded.
