Our trips all leave from the safe port of South Bay Kaikōura. Once on the water it is a short trip to our abundant fishing grounds where you can expect some truly exceptional fishing action. At the end of each trip take home your freshly caught catch of New Zealand’s finest kai moana (seafood)!

Children

Child age is 12 years and below. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for their safety and wellbeing.

What to Bring

All you need to bring is your:

• Camera
• Sunscreen
• Sunglasses
• Clothing for the weather conditions (waterproof / windproof layers)
• Any refreshments (bottled water available if required)
• Sea sickness medication, if required - see below
• ... and a sense of adventure!

For those who are prone to travel sickness, for your comfort and peace of mind we recommend taking sea sickness medication prior to your trip. You can easily purchase this medication at the Kaikōura Pharmacy.

The rest is supplied by us. We will even bait the hooks and remove your caught fish to get you back in the action as soon as possible!

Bad Weather Cancellations & Your Safety

At times, weather and sea conditions can be unpredictable and change rapidly. As a result, we prioritise the safety of our passengers and reserve the right to cancel or modify tour times as necessary.

In the event of unfavorable weather conditions that stop us from operating, we will work with all parties involved to reschedule your booking. Alternatively, if rescheduling is not feasible, a full refund will be issued.

We understand that unexpected changes can be inconvenient, but the safety and satisfaction of our passengers comes above all else. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
