Here in Juneau, we do a lot of our fishing from the docks and the shoreline. That's why we offer a local, hands-on fishing experience where our guests get to cast and reel instead of sitting in a boat without touching their rods!
Let us get you outfitted with the best gear including rods, reels, tackle, rain gear (rain tops, rain bottoms, and rainboots). Begin with a trip to the Macauley Salmon Hatchery where our guests will learn about the life cycles of an Alaskan salmon, see the saltwater aquarium and explore the saltwater touch tanks. Then we will put our gear and knowledge to use and begin fishing at one of the best shoreside fishing locations around! All transportation is provided. In no time, you will be catching your own wild Alaskan salmon! You may also see seals, sea lions, and eagles.
