About

Typical Salmon season begins in mid-June and runs through mid-August, peaking in July. Seward is best known for it's Silver Salmon run, but trolling for Kings and fighting Reds before they head up river are also options. It is not uncommon to have 3-5 fish on lines at any time during a run, so the Salmon Only trip always proves to be an exciting all-day event!

*If you would like to book a date not listed please call for availability * *Fishing for Winter Kings is available upon request. *Fish limits and blackout dates may apply.

Note to Customers: This charter typically lasts 10-12 hours. Passengers making individual reservations - If you have a time constraint and need to be back at a specific time, please book an entire boat (private charter) and let us know in the comments that you must be back at a certain time.

What to Bring

  • FISHING LICENSE!!!! King Salmon Stamps are required in addition to your license in order to keep a King Salmon
  • Layered clothing is VERY important. Even warm days can get cool on the water, so more is better as you can always take layers off
  • Raincoat/pants
  • Shoes/boots (we don’t recommend cowboy boots) that can get wet, or rubber boots (we wear rubber boots)
  • Seasick meds - begin taking 24 hours before your trip on the water so that it is in your system well before we disembark
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses
  • Camera
  • Lunch, snacks, and drinks (NO BANANAS!!!! THIS IS A RULE NOT A REQUEST).
  • Please bring plenty of drinking water. You are welcome to bring small handheld coolers but please no large or rolling coolers!
  • If you chose to bring alcohol please be courteous of others, and no glass bottles allowed

Typical itinerary

  • Guests need to arrive at the dock between 6:30AM - 6:45AM with your FISHING LICENSE in hand.
  • The boat departs the port by 7AM, no exceptions. If you miss the boat, there will be NO REFUND given and we will not wait for you.
  • All tours will have a pre-determined route depending on the weather that day and it is up to the Captain’s discretion to deviate from that route for passenger safety
  • Tours last roughly 10-12 hours and will return to the port late afternoon
  • Pictures, filleting and showing off your catch for the day once we return to the harbor
