Sea Monkey Adventures is a San Diego-based sailing company offering guided bay and coastal cruises from Downtown San Diego to Coronado Island.
The fleet operates a variety of experiences including public sunset sails, private sunset and morning charters, a four-hour Sail and Swim with a stop in Glorietta Bay, private day sails, and all-day excursions. Trip highlights include views of the Coronado Bridge, USS Midway, Seaport Village, the Kissing Statue, and Point Loma. Several cruises provide complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, with sunset sails including a sparkling-cider toast option.
Professional captains and attentive crew members operate each outing; select experiences advertise a private captain and provided life jackets for safety. Wildlife viewing is a regular feature, with seals and sea lions frequently observed on bay and coastal trips. Promotional review sails offer a complimentary private trip for up to 12 guests in exchange for an honest review.
Sea Monkey Adventures emphasizes authentic sailing opportunities, including the option to open the sails when conditions permit and the chance for guests to take the helm under captain supervision on private day sails. Departure point is Downtown San Diego, providing easy access to nearby attractions. Booking is typically available through the company’s public schedule and private charter requests.
