Catamaran Cruising aboard our 2022 Excess 11 Weekend course in upper Galveston Bay area. This class prepares for chartering catamarans anywhere in world when combined with ASA 104
The objective of this program is to prepare the individual to skipper an auxiliary-powered sailing cruising catamaran of approximately 38'-45' feet in coastal waters in moderate to heavy winds (up to 30 knots) and sea conditions. Includes those skills unique to a 30-50 foot multihull.
-Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat -Closed-toe, non-skid light soled shoes -You will not be getting in the water, but rain gear or windbreaker would be wise.
