Experience the thrill of sailing with a 2-day semi-private ASA 101 course, perfect for individuals or pairs. Enjoy personalized instruction on a 20–27 foot keelboat, mastering essential skills from docking to navigation. Gain confidence and earn your ASA certification while sailing in a supportive and hands-on environment.
2 days, 9am to 4pm
This course is designed to teach Basic Keelboat sailing over a 2-day course and is limited to 2 persons, which will allow you to get the needed individual instruction and hands on time sailing on the water. Students may register individually, but there must be 2 students to run the class. Classes are typically scheduled for Saturday and Sunday and run each day from 9 am – 4 pm. Upon graduation, you will receive ASA certification and you will be ready to safely and confidently skipper boats in the 25 ft. range.
• Fee includes trial ASA membership and its benefits and discounts. • The minimum age for our ASA 101 certification is 16 (14 if accompanied by an adult)
Notes: At least two people must be enrolled in this class in order for it to happen. BaySail reserves the right to cancel this class and refund or reschedule if less than the minimum number of students are enrolled.
