Classic 1932 Catboat
Experience the charm of sailing aboard Calynda, a beautifully restored 1932 wood catboat. With a spacious cockpit and a maximum of six guests, enjoy a private charter along the stunning Maine coast. Bring a picnic and relax as you take in breathtaking views of islands, wildlife, and local lobstermen.
Calynda is a Classic 1932 wood catboat designed by the famous Alden design firm and built on Cape Cod to the same hull shape as a working fishing catboat, but with the amenities of a cruising catboat.
Calynda has a HUGE varnished cockpit capable of seating a dozen; however, we limit this Historic catboat to a maximum of 6 guests and a Coast Guard licensed Captain for her private charters. Calynda has undergone a significant rebuilding during the fall & winter of 2020-2021 by our staff and has had a diesel engine installed. Calynda is ideal for your family, small group, or even a couple for a relaxing day on the Maine coast. Bring a picnic meal and sit back in old-world comfort while you view Islands, wildlife & lobsterman at work.
