About This Adventure

Experience the thrill of sailing on the 77' schooner Inland Seas during the Traverse City Schooner Showcase. Enjoy a breathtaking evening on Grand Traverse Bay, surrounded by majestic tall ships. This unique opportunity offers a front-row view of maritime history, making it an unforgettable adventure for sailing enthusiasts and newcomers alike.

Sail aboard the 77' schooner Inland Seas during the Traverse City Schooner Showcase. More than five tall ships will be plying the waters, celebrating the history of these iconic vessels in the Grand Traverse Bay. You will have a front-row seat as you spend the evening sailing with us and the many schooners that call the bay home.

Meeting Place and Check-In Time

  • Your experience will depart from 13271 S W Bay Shore Dr, Traverse City, MI, 49684
  • You should check in directly at the boat. Free Parking is at Discovery Pier or across the street at Discovery Center.
  • Please arrive 20-30 minutes early before your scheduled departure.
  • If you are lost or running late, please call the ship phone at (231) 620-9719. -PLEASE NOTE: Traffic is heavy at this time of year. Please plan for extra travel time, parking, and walking to the ship. To ensure that we are not late for the showcase, the ship leaves at the stated departure time and cannot be held for late arrivals.

What to Wear

Please dress according to weather predictions, and for cooler temperatures on the water. We recommend you do not wear flip-flop type shoes.
