Private and semi-private Maui tours with gear included, beginner-friendly instruction, and local cultural insights along the westside coast.
We Go Locally Guided Eco Tours LLC is a Lahaina, HI–based tour operator specializing in guided eco snorkeling and combined land‑to‑sea experiences on Maui’s westside. The company offers private and semi‑private shoreline snorkeling that accommodates beginners, non‑swimmers, and more experienced snorkelers. Trips include We Go! Eco Snorkeling 101 for Non‑Swimmers, a private guided snorkeling introduction with personalized instruction in shallow waters and safety gear provided; We Go! Guided Eco Snorkeling Adventure, a semi‑private shoreline snorkel focusing on reef ecosystems with all gear included; and Mauka To Makai Adventure (Mountain to Ocean), a customizable 3.5‑hour guided journey that pairs hiking and snorkeling while exploring local ecosystems and cultural context.
Guides emphasize safety, accessible instruction, and education about marine life and Hawaiian culture, providing masks, fins, and flotation aids as needed. Tours depart from Lahaina for convenient access to westside beaches and coastal trails. Group sizes are kept limited to maintain a personalized experience and reduce environmental impact.
Reservations are available for private or semi‑private formats depending on the trip. The operator follows shoreline snorkeling guidelines and promotes respectful interaction with reef habitats. Guests should bring reef‑safe sunscreen, water, and sun protection; basic swimming ability is helpful but not required for non‑swimmer programs.
