Adventure Tips

Bring river-safe footwear

Protect your feet when swimming or wading in the river with water shoes to avoid sharp rocks and slippery surfaces.

Secure food from wildlife

Store all food in sealed containers and use bear-proof bins if available to avoid attracting animals to your campsite.

Arrive early to claim prime sites

Sites can fill quickly during peak season, so plan to arrive early for the best setup options near the river.

Use insect repellent at dusk

Mosquitoes are most active near water at sunset, so applying insect repellent will keep bites to a minimum.
