About This Adventure

Pricing: $310 for 1-3 participants $55 for each additional in your party

This full day hike begins with wide trails once used as roads up until the 1930’s that allowed for workers to access the high elevation. The trail meandors through dense forests as you traverse ridges and ascend 3800’ of elevation taking in the diverse ecosystem the Smoky Mountains are known for. Before you reach the Appalachian Trail, you will pas through ancient rhododendron tunnels and finally crest to the ridge. On a clear day, you will be viewing Fontana Lake, Clingmans Dome and vast views of rolling mountains for miles. We break for lunch trail side and take in the cool mountain air at a sought after area of Spence field and Rocky Top before returning the same route.
