This one-day Rock Rescue course is designed to equip climbers with essential rescue skills to manage unexpected situations in both single-pitch and multi-pitch climbing environments. Whether you're climbing with a partner or tackling objectives independently, this course builds the confidence and capability to address unforeseen challenges safely and effectively.

Having a strong foundation in rescue techniques is critical when climbing remote, complex, or larger routes where help may not be readily available. This course focuses on essential skills, including partner assistance and problem-solving techniques, to ensure you’re prepared for a variety of scenarios. Throughout the day, you'll gain hands-on experience with techniques that can be practiced further on your own, giving you the knowledge and confidence to handle emergencies if the worst were to happen. Whether you’re climbing big walls, alpine routes, or remote summits, these skills are invaluable for ensuring the safety of both you and your climbing partner.

Beginner: Ideal for those who have never climbed before or are looking to get back into the sport. You'll learn the basics of climbing techniques, belaying, and safety procedures. Climbing will be on easier routes with shorter durations. Grade: Indoor routes: 5.5-5.8 (YDS) Focus: Learning basic climbing techniques, belaying, safety practices Example: Top-rope climbing on easy, short routes Suitable for climbers with basic rope skills and belaying experience. Moderate fitness level required for climbing activities.

After completing the Rock Rescue course, you’ll have a solid foundation in essential rescue skills and the confidence to handle climbing emergencies.
