The Rock Climbing Refresher course is designed for climbers who want to revisit and enhance their climbing techniques, rope skills, and safety knowledge. This one-day course is perfect for those returning to climbing after a break or looking to reinforce their foundational skills.

Beginner: Ideal for those who have never climbed before or are looking to get back into the sport. You'll learn the basics of climbing techniques, belaying, and safety procedures. Climbing will be on easier routes with shorter durations. Grade: Indoor routes: 5.5-5.8 (YDS) Focus: Learning basic climbing techniques, belaying, safety practices Example: Top-rope climbing on easy, short routes Suitable for climbers with basic climbing and belaying experience. Moderate fitness level required for climbing activities.

The 1-Day Rock Climbing Refresher course is ideal for climbers looking to revisit core skills, build confidence, and prepare for future climbing adventures. Join us for a fun and educational day at the crag!

Age Restrictions: 16+ Participants under the age of 18: All participants under the age of 18 are required to have a signed parent or guardian consent waiver before participating in any activities. This ensures we have the necessary approvals to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for younger adventurers.

After completing the Rock Refresher course, you’ll be ready to explore more climbing opportunities with renewed confidence. To further your progression, consider joining our Intro to Multi-Pitch Climbing course to expand your skills for tackling longer routes or our Learn to Lead Sport Climbing or Master the Rack Trad courses to develop your lead climbing abilities. If you’re eager to put your skills into action, book a guided climbing day on Vancouver Island or in Squamish to experience classic routes with the guidance of an experienced instructor. Regular climbing and continued learning will ensure you stay sharp and ready for your next adventure!
