The sun leans toward the western rim of the desert as a convoy leaves Riyadh and the city’s heat loosens its grip. Within an hour the skyline drops behind low ridges and the farm’s gates open onto a patchwork of scrub, compacted tracks and short mountain steps where ATVs kick dust into the cooling air.
