This Adult only river is not one to be missed, the River Tummel comes in at an exciting Grade 4, with some awesome rapids such as Sharks Tooth, Zig-Zag and our finale, a double drop waterfall ‘The Linn of Tummel’

The River Tummel White Water Rafting season starts each year on the first weekend of June. It then runs every weekend until the end of Sept. Thank you to all Splash customers who tackled the River Tummel White water rafting during all previous 20 plus seasons.

KEEPING YOU SAFE ON THE RIVER TUMMEL Our Scottish White Water Rafting trips range from introduction rafting trips that are full of fun and adventure, rivers such as the River Tay Aberfeldy and the River Tummel in Pitlochry to adrenaline pumping rivers for the hardcore and extreme rafting fan like the River Orchy Rafting and the River Findhorn Rafting.

Splash Rafting is based in Aberfeldy, Perthshire in Scotland. We are the only rafting company to run the River Orchy on a regular basis during the winter season. This is a high adrenaline grade 5 river.

The River Tay is available for whitewater rafting all year round. It is the most run rafting river in Scotland. The River Tay acts as an excellent introduction to white water rafting. It is also very scenic due to the stunning landscape around Highland Perthshire and Aberfeldy.

What to Bring

You will be provided with everything you need to raft safely on the River Tummel. However we do ask you to bring an old pair of shoes to wear on the river (These will get wet), and your swimwear for underneath your wetsuit. Optional – a non-cotton T-shirt (synthetic materials are best ) for under your wetsuit. Depending on the time of the year warm clothing for before and after your trip.

What's Included

On every River Tummel white water rafting trip we include all equipment required plus a professional experienced guide per raft combined with an overall trip leader in charge of the trip. A logistics manager on land who is also a very experienced guide. All equipment required which includes wetsuits, helmets, buoyancy aid jackets and paddles. Transport from our base on and off the river by a professional bus company and also professional photography than ensures every one of our clients has FREE photography of their rafting trip (take a look at some of the free rafting photos)
