  • Your adventure begins with an approximately 2.5-hour Ducky Kayak journey along a wild and scenic stretch of the Verde River. Enjoy just enough chutes and riffles to add excitement without disturbing the tranquility.

  • The river trip concludes on an enchanting Verde River beach, shaded by giant Cottonwood trees. From here, a short path leads to your vehicles, followed by a scenic 20-minute drive to the intimate tasting room at the boutique Salt Mine Wine Vineyard and Winery.

  • Salt Mine Wine Vineyard is nestled among picturesque pecan groves, pastures, small farms, and produce stands. This family-run vineyard proudly cultivates nine wine grape varietals, all grown without the use of herbicides or pesticides.

  • The Salt Mine Wine Experience offers fantastic photo opportunities, breathtaking scenery, abundant wildlife, and exceptional wine. You even receive credit for purchasing wine and food, making this a truly unique and unforgettable adventure.

What to Bring

  • REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE FOR SURE, we can no longer provide or sell any plastic water bottles for use on public land, but we do have filtered water for refilling!!!!!!
  • Big smiles and laughter it’s going to be a fun adventure (River Goddess likes this)
  • Clothing that is suitable for the weather conditions
  • Change of clothing for after the trip (you will be getting wet)
  • Shoes or sandals that can get wet sunhat, sunglasses, and strap, sunscreen, plastic ziplock for phones, camera and whatever you would like to keep try
  • Water bottles and quick snacks
  • I.D. for wine tasting
