Experience the thrill of eBiking with River Run Cottages! Choose from guided tours like the Monastic Settlement, rich in history, or the scenic Lake Shores ride. Perfect for all ages and abilities, these small group adventures promise stunning views and unforgettable memories. Explore at your own pace with rental options available!
The River Run Cottages eBike Experiences are available for guests of any age (under 18s should be accompanied by an adult), are suitable for all abilities, and groups are limited to a maximum of 6 people.
The following experiences are available.
- Monastic Settlement eBike Tour.
The price is €75 per guest including an eBike which are available in sizes small, medium and large.
The Monastic Settlement tour takes 4 hours where you will glide along beautiful quiet country roads.
You will visit Lorrha, a Monastic village with a 1500-year fascinating history featuring long periods of peaceful monastic settlements interspersed with less peaceful incursions from the Vikings, the Normans and the forces of Oliver Cromwell. It includes several churches dating back as much as 1000 years, and an 800-year old castle.
- Lake Shores Group Cycle.
The price is €45 per guest. Explore the shores of Lough Derg from Luska to Terryglass, encountering beautiful lake views and quiet country lanes along the way.
- eBike Rental.
The price is €50 per guest. Keep an eBike for the day and explore at your own pace. A Garmin GPS device can be provided if you wish to follow pre-defined routes, or you can just explore your own way!
