About

Rafting No matter what watercraft you choose - Canoe, Kayak, or Raft - this experience is 5 miles in distance and will take approximately 2-5 hours on the Meramec River.

The Meramac is a lazy, slow-moving river so Kayaks and Canoes may have a quicker go as you paddle downstream, while rafts tend to take a bit more time. When you arrive, all guests must sign waivers. At your departure time, all guests will be loaded up at the River stop Store and transported via bus to the Sappington Bridge. Once there, you'll be offloaded to begin your float back to the Meramec State Park, River stop Store.

Watercraft options: Canoe - price includes 2 people Single Kayak - Sit-On-Top kayaks are ideal for lazy rivers and great for all experience levels 6-Preson Raft - Can hold up to 6 people, maximum weight: 8-Person Raft - Can hold up to 8 people, maximum weight:

NO GLASS ON THE RIVER AT ANYTIME, IF YOU PASS THE TAKEOUT POINT. WE WILL RETRIEVE THE EQUIPMENT. FEE $200.00 AND YOU MUST FIND YOUR OWN RIDE BACK. ALL INSTRUCTION ARE GIVEN AT CHECK-IN AND ALSO BY THE SHUTTLE DRIVER AND YOU ARE DRIVEN DOWN TO THE TAKEOUT POINT JUST BEFORE HEADED TO SAPPINGTON BRIDGE TO SHOW YOUR STOPPING POINT. INSTRUCTION ARE TOLD AT CHECK IN ALSO ON WEB SITE AND BY THE DRIVERS.

UNRULY BEHAVIOR DURING THE CHECK-IN OR SHUTTLE RIDE OR AFTER YOUR RETURN WILL RESULT IN FURTHER FEES.
