If you'd like to make even more of a day of it, choose our longest canoe trip from Bridgnorth to Bewdley.
This 14 mile trip takes around 5-6 hours and offers some magnificent scenery, rapids and bridges.
Stop for a picnic at the little beach area in Hampton Loade which is around 2 hours from Bridgnorth. Or you can enjoy a spot of lunch at The Harbour in Arley as well (check availability & book in advance).
Finish your journey in beautiful Bewdley, with its array of pubs, fish & chip shops and icecream parlour. Get a taxi back to Bridgnorth or collect your car (if parking a car at each end).
Severn Valley Railway Note: the last train from Bewdley back to Bridgnorth is now 3.45pm (changed in 2023) so if you want to get the train, we recommend the Bridgnorth to Arley route, which works best with the timings. Alternatively, select the Hampton Loade to Bewdley option and get the train to Hampton Loade. Please check the Severn Valley Railway timetable in advance to plan your trip. Trains currently running Thurs-Sun only.
