2 hour step by step surfing instruction from an experienced and qualified surf coach.

Suitable for first time surfers, beginners or those wanting to refresh or refine techniques.

We guarantee each surfer progresses through to their next level and we make sure you'll be standing riding waves on your first lesson!

A minimum of 2 people are required. Get ready for the experience of a life time!

(We highly recommend our additional service of 2 hours hire to practice surfing after your lesson. Receive a discounted rate when booking with your lesson.)

Location

We are based at Te Arai Beach & Forestry however we are a mobile surf school and also operate from Mangawhai Heads, Matakana and Orewa. We find Te Arai has the most consistent, fun surfing conditions over other locations. We meet directly at Te Arai Beach Reserve at your lesson time

Adventure Tips

Arrive Early for Check-In

Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before your lesson start time to ensure a smooth check-in and briefing.

Bring Swimwear and Warm Clothes

Wear swimwear under your wetsuit and bring warm, dry clothes for afterwards to stay comfortable.

Hydrate and Snack Up

Carry a water bottle and some snacks to keep your energy up before and after your lesson.

Listen to Your Instructor

Follow the safety and technique guidance closely; personalized instruction is key to progress and fun.
