Adventure tips

Plan sober transport backBook a return transfer or taxi in advance if you’ll be sampling—local roads are hilly and public transit options can be limited.

Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoesThe distillery has uneven floors and steps; comfortable shoes improve safety and comfort during the walking portions.

Hydrate between tastingsAlcohol and tropical heat can dehydrate quickly—drink water between samples to stay steady and enjoy the flavors.

Carry cash for local purchasesSmall bottles, snacks or souvenirs may be cash-preferred at nearby stalls and Marigot Bay vendors.

Recommended gear

Closed-toe walking shoes: Protects feet on uneven distillery floors and the short walks between sites.
Sunscreen and hat: Open-air sections and Marigot Bay photos require sun protection in tropical sun.
Reusable water bottle: Stay hydrated during the tour and reduce single-use plastic.
Light rain jacket: Quick tropical showers can appear during the wet season; a packable jacket keeps you dry.
