Experience the freedom of a self-guided bike tour through the stunning landscapes of Portsmouth and New Castle, NH. With a fitted hybrid bicycle and a personalized route based on your interests, you can explore at your own pace, capturing beautiful moments and enjoying local spots along the way.

We'll Set You Up With a Route! This is a reservation. Please arrive 20 minutes before your reservation of 9AM or 1PM.

Pedal your way through the breathtaking Portsmouth and New Castle NH landscape – no tour guide necessary! Our self-guided rental tour is in 3 hour time slots and is the perfect way to see the sites, stop for pictures, take lunch or coffee at the beach, and make it back to the shop in enough time. Our self-guided tour includes a fitted bicycle, helmet, cell phone holder, and bike bag and we plan a route for you based on your interests and activity levels.

You set the pace, choose where to go, and decide when to stop for amazing photo opportunities! This rental SELF-GUIDED experience gives you the freedom to explore Portsmouth and New Castle the way you want!

Helpful PortCity Bike Tours expert staff will assist you in deciding on a route - choosing between Portsmouth's many historic attractions, tasty restaurants, and breathtaking views will be your only worry. Again, in addition to one of our high-quality hybrid bicycles, your rental includes a biking map, helmet, water, emergency tire inflator, and lock.

How Does This Self-Guided Bike Tour Work? We'll set you up with: -Fitted 21-speed hybrid comfort bicycle, helmet, bag, and safety equipment. -Self-guided tours run between 9 am -12 pm and 1 pm - 4 pm. -Pick up your bike on the day and time of your rental. -Planned route in your confirmation email.

Enjoy your ride! What Is Not Included? -$50 security deposit required per rental.

This is a RENTAL ONLY, so you will not be accompanied by a tour guide. For your own comfort, you might consider bringing a bottle of water or a sports drink and snacks. While we keep our tires and bikes in tiptop shape, flats happen. Flat kits are included for no additional charge. Just ask when you pick up the bike. If you do not take a kit and get a flat, we can direct you to the nearest bike shop where you can get the flat fixed. We do not offer a pick-up service for broken bicycles. Please be careful while riding and shifting.
