Know the pickup windows
Plan your launch within the posted pickup times (weekdays 10:00–4:30, weekends 12:00–3:45) to avoid late fees.
Return boats clean
A minimum $60 cleaning charge applies for dirty equipment—rinse mud and vegetation before drop-off.
Use provided tie-downs
Foam blocks and camlock straps are supplied; do not use ratchet straps which can damage hulls.
Bring a waterproof light
A waterproof flashlight or light-signalling device is required if you plan to be out near dusk; it is not included in the rental.
PFD (provided)
Paddling-specific personal flotation devices are included and required by law.
Water shoes
Protect feet on rocky launches and provide traction when hauling boats.
