Jill Cray, RYT My study of yoga began with 200 hours of interdisciplinary study of a variety of yoga practices. I trained with the Soma Yoga Institute in Hanover NH and complete my coarse in the early spring of 2015. I enjoyed learning and exploring pranayama techniques, history and philosophy of yogic life style and decided that I must share my new passion. Since October of 2014 I have developed my teaching style primarily in a power vinyasa flow but enjoy teaching restorative, yin, and prenatal yoga to name a few.
During one of my classes expect a combination of styles flowing together and lots of encouragement to both challenge and honor yourself. Laughing and questions are always welcome! The passion of yoga has ignited my life and I’m sure to share that energy with you in class.
If you were to ask me why I practice Yoga I would say “living in balance is important to me and yoga teaches me to balance effort and reward. Through my practice I learn to connect with my inner voice – the voice inside your head – and I’ve learned that you can train it to be nice to you! Coming to my mat and honoring myself I feel like I’ve woken up.” I continue to learn and accept myself when I arrive to my yoga space and that’s exciting.
