Reiki I & II in Port Royal: Full-Day Attunement and Certification

Read the full experience

On the second floor of a small studio in Port Royal, South Carolina, Reiki I & II compresses a lineage of energy-healing practice into a single, practical day. Located in Port Royal, a Lowcountry port town facing Port Royal Sound, this six-hour workshop led by instructor Susan Stone teaches Japanese-origin Reiki techniques—hands-on placements, distance healing, attunement symbols, and certificate attunements—so participants leave able to work on themselves, people, animals, or land. The classroom itself is a defining feature: a quiet practice room with a central circle for paired work and table setups for hands-on sessions. Physical touch and breathwork are paired with demonstrations of the Reiki symbols you receive as part of your attunement. Key scene elements include the attunement ritual, the sequence of hand placements across the body, and the practice of distance healing—techniques that pivot an ancient tradition into modern, accessible forms. A provided book and group discussion anchor the experiential exercises, and a catered lunch (with dairy- and gluten-free options) gives the day a communal, nourishing rhythm. What makes this training unique in Port Royal’s outdoor recreation landscape is the way it complements the coast’s restorative draws. Lowcountry salt marshes, tidal creeks, and quiet waterfront parks provide natural follow-up spaces to integrate what you learn; many participants take a reflective walk along the riverfront afterward to ground post-attunement energy. The class’s small group limit (about 10) and its second-floor studio create an intimate learning container that contrasts with louder tourist sites nearby, allowing deeper focus on subtle energetic work. Practical details matter: the course starts with Reiki I in the morning, pauses for lunch, then moves into Reiki II in the afternoon. You’ll receive attunements and a certificate on completion; registration should use the exact name you want on your certificate. The studio is on a second floor (note accessibility limitations) and is best suited to students aged 14 and up. Cancellation is covered with a full refund for notices 24 hours ahead; same-day refunds are issued as gift certificates. For travelers in the Lowcountry seeking a quiet, skill-based wellness day, Reiki I & II is an efficient, hands-on path to learn both classical techniques and modern distance healing. It’s a practical, community-minded offering that sits comfortably beside Port Royal’s maritime trails and tidal wetlands: a low-impact, restorative complement to outdoor adventure in South Carolina’s historic coastal town. Bring an open curiosity, comfortable clothes for seated practice, and a journal to track sensations; many attendees report immediate shifts in sleep, stress levels, and clarity in the days after class. Whether you’re a local or visiting the Beaufort-Port Royal region, this workshop offers practical certification and a grounded way to explore energetic work. Suitable for beginners and pros.
