Évora
Our farm is a 560-hectare farm and our team has been tasked with creating a balanced ecosystem with rich, fertile soil that produces nutrient-dense food, while treating the environment and animals with respect.
We practice regenerative agriculture and let our fruit, vegetables, cereals and pastures grow naturally: no genetically manipulated seeds and no chemicals.
Due to climate change, we use agricultural practices that combat desertification, aim to revitalize soils and adapt wildlife to the new climate reality.
After booking we will send all the details of the reservation, as well as the location of the farm and the contact of the farmer.
If you wish to propose another day or time for the experience, send us a message and we will do our best to reschedule, or we can include one more experience for all day.
Trails on the farm cover varied terrain including orchards and pasturelands, so sturdy shoes are recommended.
Stay hydrated during the 1.5-hour tour, as potable water stations may be limited across the farm.
The open farm landscape offers little shade; sun protection like hats and sunscreen is advisable, especially in summer.
Tours are stroller and wheelchair accessible, but it’s best to inform Farm Experiences & Tours ahead of time for arrangements.
The farm integrates centuries-old agricultural traditions with modern regenerative practices to tackle environmental challenges in the Alentejo region.
These regenerative practices help reverse soil degradation and desertification risks common in southern Portugal, promoting a healthier local ecosystem.
Protect your feet over varied farm terrain and ensure comfort during the 1.5-hour tour.
