A low sun spills molten gold across the red dunes as your Land Cruiser eases onto soft sand — tires hissing, engine settling, and the desert opening up ahead. The Lahbab (Red Dunes) feel vast and elemental: wind-sculpted ridges, sudden hollows, and the faint tracks of nocturnal life. For seven hours you move between motion and stillness — a 30–45 minute dune-bash that pushes the vehicle up and over sharp lips, a sunset photo stop on a high crest, then an evening in a desert camp under a broad sky.

Suitable for people in average fitness; able to get in/out of a 4x4 and walk short distances on loose sand.
The tour is about 7 hours total and typically includes hotel pickup/dropoff, 30–45 minutes dune-bashing, sandboarding, camel rides, henna, a falcon photo opportunity, unlimited soft drinks at camp, and a BBQ buffet dinner.
Children can join but infants should sit on laps; the tour is not recommended for pregnant guests or those with serious spinal or heart conditions—disclose health issues when booking.
Late afternoon leading to sunset provides cooler temperatures and the best light for photos; dune-bashing is often scheduled before sunset with camp activities afterward.
No prior experience is required; sandboarding is usually on gentle slopes at camp and camel rides are supervised, but wear closed shoes and follow attendants’ instructions.
