The wind scrapes warm sand across red slopes as the Land Cruiser powers toward Lehbab’s open sea of dunes, the vehicle tilting as it crests a ridge and drops into a bowl of ochre. You step out where the dunes are high enough to frame the skyline — a good place for a photo — then the driver revs and the ride becomes a timed pulse: long arcs of dune bashing followed by the quieter hum of quad bikes negotiating ripples.
