The sun lifts slowly over the red dunes, turning ripples of sand into a wide, warm sea that seems to dare you to cross it. In an air-conditioned 4WD the family settles in, engine steady, while the guide points out skyline glimpses of Dubai shrinking behind you. The ride is deliberate and smooth—this is a soft desert safari built for children and first-time desertgoers rather than adrenaline-seekers.
