Ras Mohammed has long been a marine crossroads where Sinai’s geology meets Red Sea currents; designated a national park to protect its unique reef systems and coastal lagoons.
The park is protected and managed to limit damage to coral; visitors should follow reef etiquette, avoid anchoring on reefs, and use reef-safe products to reduce local impact.
