Randy is a Colorado native that moved to Granby in 2016 to be closer to his home lake... Williams Fork Reservoir. Randy is an avid fisherman that has been open water boat fishing on Williams Fork weekly for well over 40 years. I've been working as full-time guide with Fishing with Bernie for 10 years. I love to fish and share that passion and knowledge with my clients that are visiting in Grand County. I get as much of a thrill getting clients on fish as I do when I go fishing myself.
You'll be vertically jigging for Lake Trout from my clean, fully equipped 19' special edition Tracker Targa fishing boat. I'll provide all fishing gear and bait. Never fished for Lake Trout, no worries... I'll teach you.
Generally, we'll meet at the east boat ramp of Williams Fork Reservoir at 6AM and fish till noonish. After Labor Day fishing trips will start at 7AM.
Williams Fork Reservoir is a fishing only lake. No water skiers or jet boats allowed. It's a very quiet and peaceful lake surrounded by mountains. The scenery is amazing especially in spring. Nearly every trip I hear my clients comment on how beautiful this place is.
You may keep a limit of four fish per person 19" or under. I'll fillet or clean the fish and package them in zip-locks for you. You can reach me at 970-281-2668
