Farms— entice your senses with flavours of Hilo grown tropical fruits, take a walk on Spice Road as you smell, taste and feel the essence of Hawaii. This is one of the largest tropical fruit farms in the State of Hawaii, with an abundance of tropical crops ranging from lychee, longan, rambutan, cinnamon, nutmeg, heart of palm, cacao, coffee, and so much more! Taste a variety of fresh fruits and spices that we have in season and learn to crack a macadamia nut. Family owned and operated for almost 20 years, they support other farmers on island through collaborative community food projects and feel they are caregivers of the land and are thankful to be able to share it.
O.K. Farms is home to the famous Wailuku river, the winding waters caress the entire spans of the farm providing multiple waterfall views and beautiful gorges. We will visit the secluded waterfall, Kaimukanaka which is a critical place where two major rivers in Hilo come together and join as one. End your tour taking in the iconic views of Rainbow Falls, but not your normal view that most of the public sees, you will be looking at Rainbow Falls from the very top of it.
