About This Adventure

Experience a thrilling day of rafting on the Grand River, starting with a luxurious minibus ride. Enjoy 11.5 km of scenic paddling, with opportunities to relax and picnic along the way. After your adventure, unwind at the Paris Brewery for a refreshing drink, making it a perfect day out with friends.

Itinerary

You will be picked up at a designated point (pre-arranged) in one of our luxury minibuses and transported in style out to the Grand River to arrive around 9.30am. Paris is located about a 1 hour drive from Oakville and Burlington and around 45 minutes from Hamilton. We drive you to the check in point where you will be provided information from the rafting company, shown maps and given your life jackets and paddles. We then drive you up the river to the river access point just north of Glen Morris. Here you will receive your raft or turbo tube where you launch out onto the river and you are free to make your way down the river until 2.00pm when you need to be back at the check in point. Make sure you relax on the way, maybe stop at one of the picnic points to have some snacks (you should bring water and snacks). Depending on the speed of the river you could be on the river for about 3 hours if you were to paddle the entire way and not make any stops, so 4 hours on the rivers makes it a leisurely day out. The distance on the river is 11.5km. (7 miles) Our bus will be waiting when you get off the river where we will either take you into the village of Paris to the Paris Brewery for 1 hour for a well earned refreshment if you have pre-booked that option (Rafts & Drafts) or we depart directly back to your morning pick up point. Want to stay longer? Talk to our staff about extending your day in Paris for a small surcharge. This tour is booked as a private tour only with minimum 8 people. Rafts take 8 or 12 people and the turbo tubes are individual. Groups can partake in either a raft or turbo tube, however you should have at least 6 people in a raft so it will depend on the combination of group size should individual participants choose a raft or turbo tube. We can accommodate up to 34 people per day. (or call us for larger groups)
