About

Explore the beautiful countryside of Amsterdam by bike, with your local queer & fabulous expert. Around Amsterdam, you will find the most beautiful Dutch landscapes. Just outside the city, around the corner, you'll find the beautiful countryside of the Netherlands. Which is as diverse as all these amazing characters LGBTQI+ plus our dear allies. You'll find everything the Netherlands is known for. Polders, authentic Dutch villages, windmills, small Dutch towns, dikes, wind, water, and, of course, cows and sheep.

Want to discover your inner country queer by biking in the beautiful countryside of Amsterdam? The Dutch countryside is not so different from us queers and allies, because they are both ab-so-lu-te-ly fantastic. The biggest difference is the shape: flat as a pancake, while we come in ALL shapes.

Adventure Tips

Bring your own water bottle

Carry a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated during the ride, especially since countryside stops can be spaced out.

Wear comfortable shoes

Opt for sturdy, comfortable footwear suitable for biking and occasional walking on uneven village streets.

Use a good lock

Although bike rental comes with a lock, make sure to secure your bicycle properly when stopping in villages or at landmarks.

Follow local traffic rules

Cycling in the Netherlands is safe but strict traffic laws mean you should stay aware of vehicles and pedestrians, especially near town centers.
