The ride begins where the valley opens: Kinross Winery’s gravel car park, rows of vines hovering above the Kawarau River. Riders mount their e-bikes after a quick safety briefing, and the trail unfurls — river braids daring you to look over the guardrail, willow-edged paths that push you past old gold workings and rusting sluice remnants.

E-bike options and family bikes are available for children aged 8 and up; height and comfort with pedaling are assessed during booking.
The booking is a one-way ride from Arthurs Point/Arrowtown to Kinross with a shuttle to bring you back to the start or Queenstown area.
Typical e-bike range on mixed terrain is 40–80 km depending on assist level, rider weight, and hills; this 38km route is within normal range but choose conservative assist settings and charge fully before departure.
